KUALA TERENGGANU-A Quran class teacher and Fardh Ain (Kafa) charged in the Magistrate's Court here yesterday, for allegedly doing obscene on a scout camping male participants in the camp Inward Well, here, last April.
However, the accused, Wan Mohd Shahrul Nizam Wan Abdullah, 30, pleaded not guilty and beg to be tried on charges under Section 377E of the Penal Code which carries a jail term of up to five years and whipping upon conviction.
Based on the charges, the accused was charged on April 22 about 11 am at Camp Hidden Well, here, has stimulated the sex of the victim, the six students to do an obscene act.
Immediately the accused pleaded not guilty, the father of two was recorded, Rozianti Magistrate Mohamed Hanaphi set October 21 as the next date of mention and admit him to bail of RM5, 000 with one surety.
